Amongst other services, Health Diplomats has provided consulting services in the field of harm reduction to its clients since 2006. Harm minimization solutions have been developed for intergovernmental agencies, governments and companies in the alcohol, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and tobacco & nicotine industries. Pro bono work has also been done in drug harm reduction for various charities and governmental institutions.
In the tobacco and nicotine space, harm reduction services have been provided to tobacco manufacturers (multiple companies within the GTNF list of sponsors) and nicotine product manufacturers (pharmaceutical and consumer-based companies). Services have focused on cigarette smoking cessation, substitution and harm reduction in general. In all cases, our experienced team has been advocating for policies, science, consumer empowerment and products to prevent tobacco-related disease and premature death. No services or promotion related to combustible cigarettes have ever, or will ever be provided.
In the alcohol industry, alcohol harm reduction services have been provided to several companies listed in the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking.
In the food industry, harm reduction services have been provided to several members of IFBA.
Multiple companies have been advised in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including several members of IFPMA.
